Worship God. That's what we were created to do. Nothing and no one else is worthy of the praises in our hearts. Nothing brings us into God's presence quite like praising and worshiping Him. It lifts Him up, but it also lifts US up! Our perspective is changed when we are offering our sacrifice of praise. Our attitude changes too, because worship and adoration of our LORD opens our hearts up to Him in amazing ways. Countless songs have been written, including the ancient song-book of the Psalms, but we never exhaust the ways to exalt and honour our God. After all, we will be singing His praises for all eternity! These simple songs express my heart's praise and gratitude - they were born after or during times of prayer, in simple expressions of love and thanks, while going about my day - working, driving, or just responding to the Spirit's nudge to pick up the guitar or sit at the piano and receive His gift of song. I pray they will draw you into His sweet presence in a powerful, precious way, and fill your heart to overflowing! Join with me in lifting up the name of Jesus and sing on!!!
