It's been quite a while since I posted on here....life just seems to keep me busy!!  As we've gone through the first few weeks of this new year, I have been reflecting on different things.  I've been encouraged by various devotionals and messages to give myself afresh to God...surrendering my life anew, each day, and anticipating the adventures and lessons He is going to bring me through and teach me.  There is much in our world that can cause fear and uncertainty, but we KNOW the One who is in control of it all, and we can trust Him to strengthen, sustain and carry us through whatever may come.  I just want to rest in Him, walk closer to Him, obey His word, fulfill my ministry, do what He's called me to do, and shine His light and love in every circumstance that I face.  Easier said than done, I know, but I'm committed to growing in God's ways, and allowing His Spirit to control me more and more.  I have had such a great burden of prayer for the past 4 or 5 months, and I know that we all need to seek Him and call upon His name at all times.  THERE IS GREAT POWER IN PRAYER BECAUSE OUR GOD IS ALL-POWERFUL AND HE WAITS FOR HIS PEOPLE TO CRY OUT TO HIM!!  Let's all purpose together to walk closer to Him this year, to support each other in prayer, and to live our lives to please and honour Him.  May you be blessed as you serve our awesome God!
